Visit to The Butler Collection of 17th Century Chinese Porcelain

Date: Saturday 7 March 2026, 11am-1.30pm
Location: The Butler Collection, Dorset, Nearest train station is Wareham (location of the museum will be shared with ticket holders).

A wonderful opportunity to visit this world-famous collection in Dorset. Up to 20 OCS members will have exclusive access to the purpose-built museum, with the chance to handle objects and exchange insights with fellow members and with Katharine Butler, daughter of the collector Sir Michael Butler, and a collector and researcher in her own right. Katharine will lead the visit and host the group with tea and cake. Tickets to this event are limited and are expected to sell out quickly.

As these events have limited capacity, we ask members to book either the Butler Collection OR the tour of Leighton House, so that as many members as possible have the opportunity to attend these events.
