A group of nearly 30 members and guests visited The Netherlands in September 2024. The tour was led by Harry Douglas-Hamilton and was jointly organised with Nynke and Floris van der Ven who are located in the Netherlands. Although staying in The Hague, the tour also visited Appeldoorn, Den Bosch and Leiden.
In addition to public museums and galleries, such as the Kunstmuseum Den Haag (Art Museum The Hague) and Het Loo Palace and Museum, the group also visited private collections of the Fei Family and Bisdom van Vliet Haasdrecht. A visit was also made to the Collectie Centrum Nederland (CCN) which is a large new state of the art national storage facility for major Dutch collections including the Rijksmuseum. The tour was privileged with a number of special handling sessions in areas not open to the public.
Following a handling session at the auction house Venduehuis, the tour group was joined by a dozen members of the Dutch OCS, KVVAK at an evening function where the OCS participants enjoyed a presentation on the history of the Dutch Society.
