We are delighted to share the exciting news that the advance booking for the OCS China tour in October 2027 will open next week, on Tuesday 20 October 2026.
Members will be emailed details of the tour which is organized by the ATOL-licensed tour operator Distant Horizons. This will be accompanied by a booking form and details for payment of a deposit for the tour. Applications to Distant Horizons will be handled on a “first come first served” basis. If the applications exceed 20, a waiting list will be opened. If by 31 December 2026 the number of members and their relatives applying for the tour is less than 20, the tour will be opened by Distant Horizons to others on their client base (including alumni of Oxford and Cambridge Universities and SOAS and other international societies devoted to the study of ceramics).
This is the first OCS sponsored visit to China in over 20 years and promises to be an exciting and memorable trip.
